Lisbon Emergency's Public Budget Presentation February 24th 6pm

Lisbon Emergency will be having a public presentation of our budget to the residents of Lisbon, Bowdoin and Bowdoinham Tuesday February 24th at 6pm in the Lisbon Community School Cafeteria located at 33 Mill St. Lisbon, ME.  This meeting is meant to present our budget and answer any questions residents may have about our service.  We will be presenting our budget to the Town of Lisbon in March as part of their budget process.  The town of Bowdoin will be voting on our budget at their Town Meeting in March.  We will be presenting our budget to the Bowdoinham Selectboard in March as well.  Lisbon Emergency is seeking a 3.8% budget increase next fiscal year; this would mean an increase from $181,317.87 to $188,545.43 (+$7,227.56) for both Bowdoin and Bowdoinham individually and an increase from $543,953.62 to $565,636.30 (+$21,682.67) for the Town of Lisbon.

• The first file is our budget and Capital Improvement plan for the coming and previous years
• The second file is our business plan; this talks in detail about our operations, past, present and future.  It gives an explanation of financial and operational successes and challenges.  It is a great place to gain knowledge of our service.
• The third file is our staffing and run data for this fiscal year
• The fourth is due diligence documents for the Towns of Lisbon, Bowdoin and Bowdoinham; this shows this years independent financial audit
• The fifth and sixth are previous years independent financial audits.
